Exhibited at New York World Exposition in 1939, this reproduction, made with 12,250 pearls and 366 diamonds, caused a sensation among the American public as the 'Million Dollar Bell'.
The crack on the original is reproduced with the use of blue pearls.
Despite the wish for peace conveyed by this bell, World War Ⅱbroke out during this exposition.
